National Statistical Systems

The National Statistical System (NSS) is the combination of statistical organisations and units within a country that jointly collect, process and disseminate official statistics on behalf of a national government.

PARIS21 supports developing countries as they develop their NSS through several mechanisms. PARIS21 facilitates south-south learning in statistical development through peer reviews and helps countries further advance their national statistical systems through NSS Assessments
