PARIS21 participates in inter-regional seminar on NSS reviews in SIDS

From 1-3 August 2017, PARIS21 participated as resource person in the UNESCAP-UNECLAC-UNSD organised seminar on NSS reviews in small island developing states (SIDS). The objective of the seminar was to facilitate exchange of best practices and lessons learned on NSS reviews among SIDS countries that have undergone such processes and those planning on doing on.  The outcome of the seminar will contribute to the update of the 2003 edition of the UN Handbook on Statistical Organisations

PARIS21 presented its programme of support to SIDS specifically on NSDS preparation which involves NSS assessments as part of the NSDS process. Likewise, the findings in the on-going NSS Assessment study of PARIS21 was presented, which identified 4 typologies of NSS assessment tools.
