Tanzania undertakes its second NSS peer review in a decade

Kenya and South Africa peer reviewed Tanzania from 7th to 11th November. This is Tanzania's second peer review in a decade, following the peer review in 2007 by Zambia and Ghana.

To date, Tanzania is the first country to be peer reviewed twice. Following the first review, a number of achievements have been recorded including a new Statistics Act approved in 2015 and also the provision of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) becoming a publicly autonomous institution that was also approved in 2015.
