The co-ordination of aid to statistics and the facilitation of an international partnership in statistics are among the main purposes of PARIS21. The PARIS21 Partnership provides a forum for dialogue on supporting statistical development and shares tools to make this co-ordination a reality.
Among the ways in which PARIS21 works together are the following:
- Providing information to and using the results of the Partner Report on Support to Statistics (PRESS)
- Maintaining an updated Global Directory of Partners in Statistical Capacity Building
- Establishing links with National Statistical Offices (NSOs)
- Convening regular Consortium meetings to draw on the experiences and perspectives of the entire Partnership
- Establishing and participating actively in task teams addressing a subject matter of burning relevance to the Partnership
