Cet atelier a constitué le premier du genre en São Tomé & Principe ; il a réuni vingt participants, journalistes et statisticiens, y compris la Directrice Générale de l’Institut National de Statistique (INS).

PARIS21 conducted a microdata documentation workshop in Doso, Niger from 25-29 July. Twenty-two surveys were documented across the statistical system and will be posted on the Nigerien NADA. The INS in Niger organised the workshop and mobilised various agencies in the statistical system.

PARIS21 and the Pacific Community (SPC) held a data documentation and data management training in Noumea, New Caledonia July 11-15. Seven countries attended the workshop including representatives from: Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Palau, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu and the Northern Marina Islands.

Multidimensional Country Review (MDCR) of Senegal PARIS21 participated in the MDCR in Senegal. This is a fruitful collaboration between P21 and the OECD Development Centre. This is the first time that the issue of statistical capacity is included at length in the MDCR.
