PARIS21 participated at the 5th Central Bank Governors’ Think Tanking held at the Commonwealth Partnership for Technology Management (CPTM) offices in London. Attended by Central Bank Governors, statisticians, representatives from the Bureau of Standards Jamaica, data scientists and academicians from the Commonwealth countries, the workshop confirmed the need to intertwine statistics in all development agendas particularly in monitoring SDGs and issues related to COP21. Central Bank Governors confirmed the "chicken and egg" relationship between national statistical offices and the central banks particularly in relation to economic statistics.
