From 27 to 31 March 2017, PARIS21 reviewed the NSDS-1 of Guinea, jointly with AFRISTAT and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. The mission provided recommendations including human resources capacity building, funding of the national statistical system, communications and data dissemination. The final NSDS evaluation report and the NSS diagnostic were presented to the national Technical Statistical Committee (CTS) on 28 April. PARIS21 will support the elaboration of the NSDS-2 in the coming months, in co-ordination with the European Commission’s Projet d’Appui au Renforcement des Fonctions Statistiques de l’État.
