Regional Workshop on the Quality Approach

Yaounde, Cameroon, 30 May - 3 June

Along with AFRISTAT and Statistics Canada, PARIS21 organised a regional workshop in Yaounde Cameroon which looked at the quality approach and gathered NSO representatives from 5 African countries: Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Gabon, Madagascar and Senegal.

The objective of the workshop was to provide NSOs with methods and tools to elaborate and implement a National Quality Assurance Framework (NQAF). Participants agreed on practical recommendations that would allow their countries to elaborate their NQAF in liaison with their National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS).
