PARIS21 led an ADAPT workshop with UNESCAP during a sub-regional training on SDG readiness from 28 to 30 September 2016. The training was attended by eight countries including: Russian, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Turkey. PARIS21 presented the ADAPT tool and led a two-day training on its utilisation. Many countries have already started mapping their indicators to the SDGs, often with the help of UN agency country offices.  A great deal of interest in the tool was expressed by the countries. A follow up plan will be drafted with UNESCAP to allow for further support in the region.
