National flag of Lao PDRLao PDR celebrated its National Statistics Day 2011 on 30 June. The theme of this year’s celebration was “Better Statistics, Better Policies, Better Development Outcomes”. The proceedings considered a draft sub decree to implement the statistical law, which was approved exactly one year ago. The meeting also reviewed the Fourth National Report on Human Resources Development. PARIS21 delivered a presentation on the NSDS process in general and integrating sectoral concerns in particular.
