The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) is currently working on the design of a Regional Strategy for the Development of Statistics (RSDS) in the region. The OECS Secretariat is seeking to hire a Consultant to carry out and successfully complete the assessment phase of the RSDS to set the stage for advancement of the planned OECS RSDS. The purpose of the assessment is to establish a comprehensive view of the situation with statistics in the region and to share and discuss it with all stakeholders. It will be composed of a base line as at the end of 2000, and a diagnosis and preliminary vision for the region as a whole and for each member country.
