The National Statistics Council (NSC) of Togo was officially inaugurated on Thursday 16 May in Lome by Djossou Sémondji, Minister of Planning, Development and Planning. Technical and financial partners were present, as well as the European Union (EU) and the Afreepress Agency. Composed of fourteen members and directed by the Minister of Planning, the body will have the responsibility of overseeing and co-ordinating statistical activities in Togo.
