The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), spearheaded by its National Statistician, Dr. Lisa Grace Bersales held a launching forum of the Country Report on Support to Statistics (CRESS) on 8 June 2015.

The forum, supported by PARIS21, is aimed at introducing the CRESS as a tool for better monitoring and planning of statistical financing in the Philippines. The Philippines is one of the pilot countries in Asia-Pacific, along with Vietnam, to take interest in monitoring the country’s investment on statistics.

The result of the CRESS exercise is expected to be released towards end of the year.
