PARIS21 attended the Regional Conference on the use of mobile technology for statistical processes at the UN Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa. PARIS21 presented a cost-benefit analysis which demonstrates that Android tablets can cut data processing costs by about 60% compared to traditional paper-based data collections.
