From 16 to 20 November, PARIS21 organised a regional data dissemination workshop in Tirana, Albania.

The workshop covered microdata management, standards for statistical data exchange (SDMX), mobile data and data visualisation. It was hosted by INSTAT Albania and attended by seven countries in the region: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Albania, Bosnia, Montenegro, Kosovo.

The participants found the workshop to provide a very good overview of data dissemination practices and identified strong demands for further training, particularly in the area of interactive data visualisation using the open source software R.
