PARIS21 participated in the Workshop on the Presentation of the Draft 2016-2020 NSDS for Haiti which was held in Port-au-Prince on 16 and 17 February 2016. PARIS21 has been supporting the development of the first NSDS in Haiti since 2012. This workshop aimed at presenting the draft NSDS to national producers and users of the National Statistical System (NSS) as well as development partners. The NSDS is expected to be finalised in the next months and approved by the Haitian authorities.

The workshop was organised with financial support from the European Union which has supported the development of the NSDS.

In addition, PARIS21 held several bilateral meetings to support the finalisation and the implementation of the NSDS.
