At the Second OECD World Forum on "Statistics, Knowledge and Policy", PARIS21 organised a session on "Building Statistical Capacity to Monitor the Progress of Societies”. The session was chaired by Ali Gamatie from BCEAO, with presentations from Luiz Awazu Pereira da Silva (Ministry of Budget and Planning of Brazil), Sally Stansfield (Health Metrics Network), and Pali Lehohla (Statistics South Africa). Dr. Romulo Virola (National Statistical Coordination Board of the Philippines) was the session discussant.
