From 20 to 21 October 2005 in San Salvador, El Salvador, PARIS21 organised a regional workshop for Central American countries (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama on strategic statistical planning. The objective of this workshop were to help identify the successes and constraints in designing the strategies of the NSDS, to share experiences and good practices and to assist in finding solutions to any obstacles that may exist. Countries are invited to draft the strategies they will implement and practical steps they will take to enhance their successful implementation.
