9th ASEAN Heads of Statistical Offices Meeting (AHSOM 9)

On 16 January 2009, representatives from the statistical offices of ASEAN member states met with partners from regional and international organisations in Singapore to discuss co-operation in statistics. This meeting -- the AHSOM9 -- was preceded by a two-day event on "Strategic Planning for the Development of ASEAN Statistics."

Participants issued a joint media statement at the close of the meeting.
