Since its inception in 1999, PARIS21 has been pushing forward the statistical capacity development agenda through the building and sharing of relevant knowledge across various thematic areas.

Capacity Development 4.0

With the strengthened role of new actors in the data ecosystem, there is an increasing role for capacity development initiatives to strengthen co-ordination at the national, regional and international levels.

Communities of Practice

PARIS21 has developed multiple "Communities of Practice" that facilitate discussion on key issues affecting data and statistics.

Cross Regional Engagement

PARIS21’s cross-regional fora were launched as a platform of engagement and exchange to bring together multiple stakeholders from the national, regional and global level to discuss good practices, experiences, and challenges on different statistical themes.

PARIS21 Discussion and Strategy Papers

PARIS21 Discussion and Strategy Papers provide key recommendations along specific thematic issues on how to best advance statistical capacity development objectives.
