PARIS21, the Directorate General for International Partnerships of the European Commission (DG INTPA) and UNSD are launching a new e-learning course to support governments and national statistics offices in ensuring that their Voluntary National Review process is a whole-of-government and whole-of-society process, so that data is used to leave no one behind.

This hands-on session encourages peer-learning on topics related to building data capacities, increasing official data use in policy making, and exploiting the opportunities brought by AI for both the production and use of data and official statistics.

This regional training workshop will bring together around 15 NSO heads, providing a space for knowledge sharing and peer-learning, to ensure NSOs are positioned to drive change and operate in modern and dynamic data ecosystems.

PARIS21 continues its data-driven climate advocacy workshop series in Paraguay, where CSOs will learn how to integrate data and statistics into their advocacy work. An additional module will introduce participants to using AI in their communications work.

PARIS21 is presenting its guidance on data-driven Voluntary National Reviews at this workshop to support countries in Africa who are preparing to submit VNRs in 2025.

CSOs in Kenya will work to explore and use climate change data in their advocacy work, using data storytelling techniques and forging stronger relationships with data producers, to raise awareness and target action to mitigate the impacts of climate change in Kenya.

This event presents the new Participation for Transformation of Gender Data Framework (P4T) developed by UN Women and PARIS21. It highlights how national statistics offices, gender machineries, civil society, and development partners can work together to strengthen the transformative power of gender data. The P4T framework builds on the existing efforts of the UN Collaborative on Citizen Data and its Copenhagen Framework on Citizen Data to integrate citizens' voices in the official data value chain.

This workshop will strengthen essential skills to systematically use evidence in the National Assembly's work of representation, legislation and oversight.

A joint PARIS21-Cepei event, taking place in the margins of the United Nations Statistical Commission, this event will bring together NSO Directors General, and high-level representatives from the Statistics & Data Community and the UN to explore innovative and scalable solutions for financing sustainable national statistical systems.
