Improving co-ordination to move the gender equality agenda forward in Africa

Not country specific
Gender data gaps are a universal problem and the impacts are felt universally. There are a range of causes for these data gaps that touch upon almost every part of the data cycle. Fixing the problem of data gaps requires all actors in the data cycle to work together. Creating spaces for dialogue between gender users and producers helps to identify the root causes, empower users and producers to actively change their ways of working and unify and amplify calls for better funding for gender data and statistics
