PARIS21 Annual Meetings
The two annual meetings of PARIS21 play a crucial role in accelerating learning for the PARIS21 Secretariat, Board, and partnership members as well as key stakeholders in the data community and beyond. The Spring Meetings bring together participants from diverse backgrounds to collectively envision innovative approaches to development data. The Fall Meetings is the annual gathering of the PARIS21 Board, where members and guests convene to guide the strategic orientation of the Partnership, advise on the programme of work and budget, and share learning to accelerate progress towards our strategy and results framework.
PARIS21 Spring Meetings: Envisioning new approaches to development data
The PARIS21 Spring Meetings provide an opportunity to rethink the way we approach the opportunities and challenges around development data. Centered around a different topic every year, the conference brings together policy makers, national statistical offices, the private sector, foundations, international organisations, civil society, and academia to explore innovative approaches to sustainable development data and identify areas where PARIS21 can help to drive greater impact.
The PARIS21 Spring Meetings 2024 “Data and AI for sustainable development: Building a smarter future” will be held on 3-4 April 2024 at the World Bank’s headquarters in Washington D.C. The conference is organised in collaboration with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
PARIS21 Fall Meetings: Learning together to accelerate progress
The PARIS21 Fall Meetings bring together members of the PARIS21 Board and key development stakeholders to reflect on PARIS21’s activities and programme of work, envision our future direction, and devise strategies for the effective delivery of our Strategy and Results Framework 2021-2025. The two-day event allows Board members and the Secretariat to connect with one another, delve into PARIS21's outcome areas and shape forthcoming initiatives and strategies to accelerate progress towards better data for better lives for all.
The PARIS21 Fall Meetings 2023 will take place on 15-16 November 2023 at the OECD Conference Centre in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. For further information please contact Susan Hodgson at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Communities of practice
PARIS21 establishes communities of practice to foster linkages across practitioner groups at local, national, and regional levels, leveraging PARIS21’s networks to allow partners to share knowledge and lessons learned and identify solutions to common challenges. For instance, the Community of Practice on Data Driven Communications in Latin America and the Caribbean, led by PARIS21 and Cepei, convenes national statistical offices in the region and actors outside the statistical system to exchange knowledge and strengthen data communications capacity for informed decision making.
