PARIS21 is governed by a Board and an Executive Committee.
The Board provides guidance to the PARIS21 Secretariat and includes representatives of developing countries from all regions of the world, bilateral donors, international and regional organisations, the private sector, NGOs and foundations. The Board convenes once a year at the PARIS21 Fall Meetings to guide the strategic orientation of the Partnership, advises on the programme of work and budget, and shares learning. The Board mandate runs for two years.
The Executive Committee monitors and guides the Partnership’s activities and meets three times a year. Members review, discuss and approve key elements of the PARIS21 strategy, the programme of work, and budget. The Executive Committee is made up of 13 members nominated by the Board.
The Board and the Executive Committee are presided by a Chair nominated by the PARIS21 Secretariat and approved by the Board and the Executive Committee. The Chair holds a mandate of two years.
